Love it, love it

There are so many things about this new mommyhood that are much harder or more different than anything I'd ever imagined. However, in an effort to show you that I AM paying attention to the little things, I've compiled a list of things I love about this trip so far:

I LOVE kissing away on the bridge of my daughters nose. She gets this little scrunched face afterwards that is just adorable.

I LOVE the way she curls up on my chest while we're watching tv and I'm holding her. Her face is in the crook of my neck and when she breathes it tickles!!

I LOVE that she kinda snores. It is a great reminder of whose daughter she is. . . her daddy's!

I LOVE that I'm figuring out some of her little tricks. Like last night I figured out a routine that got her to sleep and kept her asleep for chunks of time.

I LOVE that at about 5:30 in the morning, the only way my daughter is cozy enough to sleep is if she's cuddled right up to me (I don't sleep when we're like this but it's nice to just stare at her).

I LOVE how cute she is. But then what new mommy would say otherwise?
