Shoes

Emily has adorable shoes. Even when she absolutely wouldn't wear shoes, people were buying her shoes. By now, she has several pairs and I've been dying to get her to wear them. They usually get removed and go in her mouth several minutes after they go on her feet.

UNTIL THIS MORNING! Apparently shoes are now cool because Emily wanted her shoes on her feet before I even took her jammies off. We discussed it and compromised. I would take her jammies off and put her jeans on while she fussed at me and THEN the shoes would go on. Okay, so it wasn't much of a compromise on her end but she still got her shoes!

The cutest part was that while I was still gathering our stuff so we could get dressed, she kept lifting her foot in the air and trying to put her shoe on herself. I'm always so excited when I can tell that she's learning new things. :)

Oh! I will have to post pictures because she looked SO cute this morning. Just like she did yesterday. And the day before that. . . etc, etc. hehe
