My daughter smiles in her sleep.

She also does this thing when she stretches where she bend her head all the way back and squeezes her eyes shut while she puckers her lips into this impossibly tiny, completely kissable little mouth and it's just adorable! It pretty much makes up for the wide-eyed, "curious about the world" act that she pulls around 3:30 each morning. :)

Tomorrow night is Emmy's first sleep over with Marmie and Grandpa because Momma just needs one full night of SLEEP! And heck, it's a Friday night so I could even sleep in late with my husband the next morning! I won't know what to do with myself. I did get some good sleep last night though. I went to bed at 7:21 because I had such a bad headache that I was even having dry heaves. It was not fun. But Emmy got to stay up with Daddy and watch the bowl games and by the time they came to bed, I'd already had 3 1/2 hours of uninterrupted, blissful sleep. Not only that but then she didn't wake up until about 12:30 so that would make almost FIVE hours of sleep in one stretch! That hasn't happened in . . . well, exactly one month and one day. lol.

OH! One month update: Three weeks ago, Emmy was 20 inches long and weight 7 lbs even. As of her one month checkup on 12/26 (this Wednesday), she is 20 1/2 inches and 9 lb, 3 oz. So she's definitely growing! Now if we could just come to some sort of negotiated agreement on this sleeping thing.

My goodness! Aren't we cute??
