Okay, as a public health student, I know that the "back to sleep" promotion is one of the most successful public health campaigns ever launched. While it is a fantastic way to remind new parents of the proper way to put a baby to sleep to avoid the incidence of SIDS . . . it's not working for mama.
I keep thinking I'm about ready to start sleeping in the recliner because it's so difficult now for me to sleep comfortably. Honestly, I'd love to sleep on my back but Emily must not like it because if I roll onto my back. . . it's like she stretches out on my bladder. I roll over and it's instantaneous potty time.
In other news, I sewed for about 8 hours today! It feels good to be done with Emily's blanket, a pillow for her crib, a quilt for Hailee for Christmas and a quilt for Scott (also for Christmas because he's getting that. . . oh, and a daughter). I just had this kind of panic attack of "I must accomplish everything I won't be able to do once I'm somebody's mommy." :) I somehow seriously doubt that I'll be able to spend a full Sunday on the sewing machine after mid-December. lol. Not that I mind because I cannot wait to be Emily's mommy!! Just ten weeks left (and that's if she's on time and not early like my mother and Scott are predicting). Speaking of how much time is left. . . I need to get a baby poll up on the blog!
