Fit to be tied

Last night, Emily and I were in the kitchen making dinner and I was snapping a few pictures of her playing with measuring cups and spoons (and realizing I really need to mop!). Then I went to the living room so I could maybe get some shots of her playing with her toys.

Oh. My. Goodness.

I dont' know if it was fatigue or annoyance at mommy for having moved to another room or what, but she just moved to the dining room floor and threw a fit. I mean a screaming, drooling, big ole crocodile tears fit. What could I do? I just laughed. I know, I know, it's cruel, but seriously, y'all . . . it was dramatic. At one point, she just laid her head facedown on the floor and cried this pitiful cry that was just so darned cute!

Eventually I walked over and picked her up and told her that she was being silly and there was no need to throw a fit.

But I don't think she really cared. . . lol!
