"Mommy Pains"

Okay, I just realized, as I walked down a very short hall after having sat in a chair for awhile, that I have "Mommy pains." My back is killing me. I started thinking about this awhile ago because I thought "I am not that old . . . I shouldn't be having aches and pains." Then I realized that I do a lot of different things now that I'm a Mommy. Sure, I've always been a big girl but even then, I could sit up and get out of bed without hurting. Now, I hurt after sitting in my office chair for too long. Praise God, I have a massage scheduled for the 12th of this month. It's just not fair. I realized this morning, while hauling the incredible hulk that is my daughter (only she turns pinkish red when she's angry, not green), that I bend and twist and carry her on my hip, I bend over to pick her up, haul her out of jumpers, keep her upright in the tub . . . the list just goes on and DANG! It hurts my poor little back.

Still . . . I wouldn't trade it for anything (okay, maybe I WOULD like to include a Thermacare patch and some Ibuprofen . . .)
