Exciting news!!

I have been excepted to the Health Administration and Policy (HAP) specialty in my grad program. The way I explained this to my mother was that it was kind of like being in the Army and then being accepted to the special forces. The specialty will not only make my degree more centralized around management, budget, human resources, etc, but the fact that I'm in a specialty program has benefits in that the staff in HAP has a stake in helping me find a position after graduation. General track students (which is what everyone is admitted as in the beginning) don't have this kind of help.

This takes a load off of my mind for sure!
