The best Saturday ever!

Okay, so Saturday morning we woke up at about 4:45 a.m.  Emmy was screaming (her teeth need to hurry up and come in because it's so pitiful it makes Mama cry when they really start to hurt her) so we gave her Ibuprofen, a bottle and she cuddled up with me and we fell asleep again.  We slept in until about 9 a.m. then I got up and made homemade waffles, bacon and eggs.  SO much better than going to IHOP or McDonald's on a Saturday morning.  We ALL sat at the table and had breakfast.  Even Emily sat at the table in her high chair and chewed on her spoon when she wasn't having some mornin' milk.  lol.  After that, Scott and I did bills and budget (we can't go anywhere until Emily graduates high school but hey, we can keep food on the table and a roof over our heads) then had to finish up some errands for birthdays and Father's Day and headed home.  We were able to rest while Emily had her nap but when she woke up, we all hunkered down in our bedroom and we danced with her, blew raspberries on her tummy and made funny faces while we listened to all the music from her class at church (all the songs are now on the church website which is stinkin' awesome).  It was really a great day.  We had dinner with my dad and family for Father's Day that night and then went home.  It was one of those days that seems long and lordy, we did accomplish a lot but at the end of the day, I felt really rested.  I LOVE days when we don't really HAVE to do anything so we can just fill the day with the moments that spontaneously occur like breakfast at home and cuddling with the baby.
