Feeling kinda sappy this morning

So I thought I'd make a list of some of my favorite moments of this pregnancy. Some of them may make no sense whatsoever to you but here they are, in no particular order. . .

Scott's face when the pregnancy test turned positive. He looked completely confused and then he realized what it meant and we both just started bawling.

My sister's reaction to the news that we were pregnant. Hers is probably my favorite because we told everyone in Easter cards (we found out Easter Sunday) and when Courtni read hers, she screamed and then ran around the coffee bar at church to give me a big hug.

Feeling Emmy move for the first time. I kept waiting for it, knowing that because I'm a big girl, I might not feel her move until later in the pregnancy. We were on vacation and I was hurting a bit from sleeping poorly, etc but at lunch one day (In Creede, CO), I felt her move for the first time and just busted out laughing. My parents and Scott were there and I don't think they knew what I was laughing at so I'm sure I looked silly.

We were sitting in the doctor's office for our 6.5 month ultrasound and Emily kicked the tar out of my stomach so, on the off chance she'd do it again, I put Scott's hand on my tummy. When he felt her kick, he nearly jumped backward out of the chair. He just looked shocked.

Okay, so those aren't a ton of things and they're certainly not my ONLY happy memories of this pregnancy but they are the ones I thought of this morning. :)

Only 38 days to go and then we can start a list of my favorite moments from Emily's life!!
