I had another dream about the baby last night. I couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl (though I think boy and that's probably just my subconscious making decisions for me) but one thing's for sure. . . it was HUNGRY! I remember holding the baby, who was screaming his/her head off, walking through a crowded lobby area and thinking "I have no idea how to breastfeed!" It was definitely a strange one.
I've heard from other women who have said that they had dreams about their babies and could remember exactly what they looked like in the dream. Heck, one woman even woke up and drew the baby's face. I have no idea whether or not she compared it to her little girl's face once she was born but couldn't THAT have been freaky? Anyhow, I don't really remember what the little one looked like in the dream. Dang it! That would have been so cool! I'd know and of course I wouldn't tell Scott! lol. I'm so evil.
On another sleeping note, I have a call in to my doctor to see if I'm doing any permanent, irreversible damage to the bambino by sleeping on my stomach. Everything I've seen online says that sleeping on your left side is the best position for the baby because it is easier for the blood flow to get to the placenta. I've been trying that, however, I keep waking up on my stomach. What I've seen online is that it's fine as long as it's comfortable and my body would tell me if something were wrong. So far, my body is saying nothing and it's SO much more comfortable to sleep that way. After an entire weekend of trying to sleep the "right" way, I can honestly say that sleeping that way is for the birds! It's exhausting to wake up and try to figure out which side to turn onto.
