How early is too early?

Okay, so I've been trying not to do this but dang it. . . I want to go REGISTER! Yes, there's much I can't register for yet because we don't know what we're having but darn it! It's so hard to wait. I've looked at other blogs and they at least talk about the reality that you start registering for things in your head the moment you find out that you're pregnant. I'd have to agree with that. I had to make a diaper cake for a good friend of mine the same week we had our pregnancy confirmed and I was like "heck if I'm just shoppin' for her!" :) What did I buy? Nothing much. . . a yellow hoodie towl with a duckie on it. But it was cute and totally unisex so I'm safe. However, as soon as we find out what we're having, it's going to be danged hard not to rush out and register for (or buy) every pink or blue whatchamacallit we see!

When Courtni was carrying Hailee, she made it quite clear that she was getting tired of everything for a little girl coming only in pink. Well, if I'm having a girl, PINK IT UP! Bring on the ruffles and the flower-dy headbands and the patent leather mary jane's. It's going to be great. And if it's a boy, you could not purchase too many things with trucks and planes and footballs on it. It really doesn't matter which way this baby turns out (I heard it referred to yesterday as finding out if your baby has a hot dog or a cheeseburger and I'm still not sure what a cheeseburger has to do with anything), he/she is going to be a girl's girl or a boy's boy. I can't wait!

But honestly, is it too early to register? Just in case, I've waited on registering . . . I just have those handy dandy "wishlists" at a couple of places. lol. There are ways around everything

...some girls grow up strong and bold, some boys are quiet and kind. Some race on a head, some follow behing. Some grow in their own strength and time...
